We are so pleased that you are thinking about having a church wedding. We have seven beautiful churches for you to choose from. A church wedding costs in the region of £650 and we can usually accommodate most dates. One of the clergy will then be in touch and will arrange to meet with you both and discuss your plans with you. CHRISTENING/BAPTISM
The birth of a new child is one of the most wonderful things that can happen to any couple, and it is a cause of great celebration. This is why we love welcoming families to our churches for baptism. It is an opportunity for you to give thanks for the miracle of a new life, for your child to receive God’s blessing, and for you to become a part of a church community that will help your child to have ‘life in all it’s fullness’ - which is what Jesus promises There is no charge for a baptism but we encourage a donation of £50 To arrange a baptism at any of our churches please contact our Team Administrator at durhamnorthteam@gmail.com or telephone 0191 384 7825 To find out more about baptism please follow visit https://churchofenglandchristenings.org
